Kilifi Goovernor Hon Amason Kingi has this morning announced that all the Kilifi county covid 19 cases have recovered.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
“As it is now Kilifi county does not have any active case of COVID-19 under care in any of our health facilities. The 6 cases that had confirmed positive have all recovered,” said Kingi.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Kilifi county got exposed to the virus after deputy governor contaminated the county.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Dg Saburi who arrived in the country from German on March 7 mingled with locals freely in at least three public functions he attended before being diagnosed with the virus.
County officials who interacted with the DG including the governor were forced to quarantine for 14 days.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Governor Joho and Kingi were at one point jointly advocating for total lockdown.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
