{"id":3103,"date":"2020-04-23T13:23:55","date_gmt":"2020-04-23T13:23:55","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/goodmorningkenya.com\/wp\/?p=3103"},"modified":"2020-04-23T13:23:57","modified_gmt":"2020-04-23T13:23:57","slug":"three-killed-in-chamakanga-in-sabatia-over-robbery","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/goodmorningkenya.com\/wp\/?p=3103","title":{"rendered":"Three killed in Chamakanga in Sabatia over Robbery"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><em>Three Killed in Chamakanga \/Sabatia over Robbery<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Three people suspected to be robbers were on Thursday, April 23, killed by Chamakanga<br>\nvillagers in Sabatia constituency after they<br>\nallegedly broke into locals houses and<br>\nvandalised items.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Residents of Chamakanga village which is just a stone throw a way from Mululu&#8217;s home of Mudavadi has been registering several cases of robbery and the heavy rains have even made the case worse.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>According to Sabatia Subcounty<br>\nOCPD Charles Mutheu, the three<br>\nwere caught red handed at around 4am as they broke into the house.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Mutheu further unveiled that the unknown<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;The fiery villagers were brought to<br>\nattention by victims alarm, they woke up and reacted on the bandits, killing two on<br>\nthe spot and the third succumbed amid<br>\nbeing taken to Vihiga referral hospital for<br>\nmedication,&#8221; Mutheu said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A few days ago, robbers stormed Mudete market of Sabatia<br>\nconstituency stealing property of unknown value despite having a dawn to dusk curfew<br>\nin place.<br>\nThe bodies of the three are lying at Vihiga District and <br>\nreferral hospital morgue Mbale for preservation<br>\nand postmortem.<br>\nCases of insecurity across the country have<br>\nbeen rife since Friday, March 27, when<br>\nPresident Uhuru Kenyatta ordered the<br>\nnationalwide dusk to dawn curfew.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Vihiga county woman rep Hon Beatrice Adagala has called on the police to intensify patrols and ensure residents are safe.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;National police service should intensify their operation and ensure our people are well protected.
