On Saturday, against a backdrop of excited residents, Mudambi declared his candidacy, signalling what many believe could be the beginning of a new era for the ward.
Born over 30 years ago in Bunyore, Vihiga County, Festus grew up in Gatina, schooled here, and has lived most of his adult life serving in the same community he now aspires to lead.
\u201cI was born over 30 years ago in Bunyore land of Vihiga County. I have lived most of my childhood life here in Gatina. By the grace of God I schooled, went to college and now I am working right from Gatina. I believe I have what it takes to transform Gatina Ward.\u201d<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n
