Ruth Odinga, Wilfred Odalo, Jane Wangui to lead ODM campaign in Kariobangi today<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Kisumu Woman Representative Ruth Odinga, Mabatini ward Member of the County Assembly Wilfred Odalo, and seasoned Embakasi North Politician Madam Jane Wangui Muringi are set to headline the final weekend of campaigns in Kariobangi North ward for the Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) party candidate Michael Ouma Majua today, Saturday 22 November 2025.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Odalo, who is the MCA for Mabatini ward in Mathare constituency at the Nairobi City County Assembly and serves as the Chairperson of the Finance, Budget and Appropriations Committee, will cross over to the neighbouring Kariobangi North ward to rally homestretch support for Majua ahead of the by-elections scheduled for November 27, 2025.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Odalo, supporting the ODM candidate for the assembly seat, will be accompanied by a battery of ODM luminaries among them Kisumu Woman Representative Ruth Odinga, seasoned Embakasi North Politician Madam Jane Wangui Muringi, and a host of other leaders in the ODM Weekend Campaigns in Kariobangi North. Other leaders expected to join the caravan include neighbouring ODM MCAs Dan Oria of Dandora Ward 4\/5, Korogocho MCA Absalom Onyango Matach, Charles Ogenga, and Perpetua Mponjiwa.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The campaigns in support of Majua are planned to traverse different areas of Kariobangi North Ward. The caravan will start at City, heading to Darfur and Sega areas before moving ahead to Shoeshine, Downtown, Kamash, Humble, and Githembe stage. They will then move to Wailers, Kariobangi Light Industries, Majenga, and culminate the campaign trail at the Kariobangi Market.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Different independent opinion polls have thrust Majua into the lead in what could be a neck-to-neck contest between ODM\u2019s Majua and the DCP candidate.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Various top leaders in ODM have thrown their weight behind Michael Ouma Majua in the upcoming Kariobangi North ward by-elections.
