Their joint initiative, known as the \u2018ALIVE\u2019 programme<\/strong>, is equipping smallholder farmers with tools and knowledge to fight food insecurity, adapt to climate change, and build sustainable livelihoods.<\/p>\n\n\n\n For thousands of families across rural Kenya, small-scale farming remains a high-stakes struggle \u2014 with erratic rainfall, rising temperatures, and volatile market prices threatening their main source of food and income.
