NAIROBI, Kenya<\/strong> <\/p>\n\n\n\n In a significant step towards reducing food waste and strengthening food security, Majid Al Futtaim Retail<\/strong>, the exclusive operator of Carrefour<\/strong> in Kenya, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU)<\/strong> with Food Banking Kenya (FBK)<\/strong> to redistribute safe, surplus food to vulnerable communities nationwide.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Under the partnership, Carrefour<\/strong> will channel edible surplus food through daily collections and deliveries<\/strong> managed by FBK.
