Political temperatures in Western Kenya continue to rise as leaders draw battle lines over who truly commands the Mulembe vote. The latest to wade into the debate is Makadara MP Hon. George Aladwa<\/strong>, who has poured cold water on Governor George Natembeya\u2019s<\/strong> mock installation as Luhya spokesman \u2014 declaring that the Mulembe Nation remains firmly behind Prime Cabinet Secretary Musalia Mudavadi<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Speaking at Nyang\u2019ori<\/strong>, the headquarters of the PAG Church<\/strong>, during its centenary celebrations<\/strong>, Hon. Aladwa reaffirmed the community\u2019s loyalty to Mudavadi, describing him as \u201cthe undisputed Kingpin of the Mulembe Nation.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cI want to thank President William Ruto for honoring the invitation to come and worship with us as we celebrate 100 years of service by the PAG Church,\u201d said Aladwa.
\u201cAs a church, we shall continue to pray for this nation and for God to grant the President wisdom to steer Kenya forward.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Turning to politics, Aladwa was emphatic:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThe Mulembe Nation is firmly behind Hon. Musalia Mudavadi as our regional leader. Under Mudavadi, we have built strong ties with President Ruto, and today we are fully part and parcel of the government. We shall continue to draw wisdom from elders like Hon. Atwoli even as we stand steadfast behind Mudavadi and President Ruto. Two terms is indeed a reality!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

His remarks come just days after Governor Natembeya\u2019s controversial \u2018installation\u2019 ceremony at Kiritu Stadium in Vihiga<\/strong>, where he was mockingly crowned as the Luhya spokesman \u2014 a move many leaders have dismissed as \u201cpedestrian and comic.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

A maverick city politician<\/strong> with deep roots in Vihiga, Hon. Aladwa<\/strong> is widely regarded as the de facto Luhya leader in Nairobi<\/strong>. His bold declaration that the Mulembe Nation will take political direction from Mudavadi is being viewed as a game-changer<\/strong> in Western politics as the country heads toward the 2027 elections<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

With Musalia Mudavadi<\/strong> firmly entrenched in President Ruto\u2019s inner circle \u2014 and Raila Odinga<\/strong> signaling cooperation with the government \u2014 pundits predict that 2027 could mark a major political realignment<\/strong>, with the pro-Ruto alliance likely to carry the day in Western Kenya<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
