Born into a family steeped in activism, Daddy\u2019s entry into politics was almost by default. He credits his mother, a fearless defender of human rights and a vocal critic of the one-party regime, for shaping his ideological foundation. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cMy mother was not only an activist but also a staunch advocate for democracy. She stood firm against the one-party dictatorship and played her part in the struggle for multi-party democracy. From her, I honed my passion for human rights, my uncompromising defense of freedoms, and my resolve to safeguard the gains made. For me, it was only natural to join ODM\u2014the party that has fought relentlessly for the democratic space we enjoy today. It was also natural to align with my party leader RT Hon Raila Amollo Odinga<\/em><\/strong> whose influence has been central to my political journey,\u201d notes Daddy.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

Having been born and raised in Dagoretti North, Daddy\u2019s political involvement began at the grassroots level. His rise within ODM\u2019s structures saw him rise through ward leadership positions to constituency-level engagements.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cDagoretti North is unique. I\u2019ve had the privilege of serving at various levels of ODM leadership here, and perhaps my most formative political experience was working closely with Governor Simba Arati<\/strong><\/em>, our former MP and now Deputy Party Leader. He has been a mentor not just to me, but to countless young leaders. As I now step forward for the county youth leadership role, I am convinced I have the capacity and vision to guide ODM\u2019s youth wing into its next chapter as the party marks two decades of existence,\u201d explains Daddy.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

George<\/em><\/strong> Aladwa<\/em><\/strong>, visited Daddy at his residence in Kabiro Ward\u2014a gesture widely interpreted as an endorsement of confidence from the party hierarchy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Beyond the Youth Seat to Kabiro?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

While his immediate focus remains on securing the Nairobi County Youth Leader seat, speculation is rife that Daddy could be eyeing a more expansive political future. Word in local political circles suggests a possible contest for the Kabiro Ward MCA seat in 2027, setting the stage for a high-stakes duel with the incumbent, Hon. Munga<\/em><\/strong>. With both contenders being homegrown, the clash would undoubtedly capture the ward\u2019s political imagination.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For now, however, Daddy remains focused on the ODM youth leadership race.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
