After the successful hosting of Ingwe gala fest at the Maa Hotel in Nairobi, the guy behind it Mr Olimpia Musonye has challenged Ingwe fraternity to keep together and ensure AFC leopards reclaims its lost glory.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The colourful event which was hosted by U45 Unit branch under the leadership of Mr Olimpia Musonye, hundreds of fans withstood the evening cold to witness the event that many claim that it’s organisation was top notch.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Unity is strength ~Olimpia Musonye.<\/pre>\n\n\n\n
Mr Musonye has further louded Afc leopards NEC led by Dr Dan Shikanda and Patron Mr Muteshi for their co operation without which the event would not have taken off.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
“I thank the leadership of our club led by our chairman Dr Shikanda, Patron Mr Muteshi, all branch leaders for their contribution towards the success of the just concluded event. Cooperate entities that came through for us to make the event colourful deserve a special mention. Our leaders Prime Cabinet secretary Hon Mudavadi and our former SG and Mp for Makadara for taking time off their busy schedules just to cone and share their wisdom with us. The event was a clear demonstration of what a united Ingwe family can achieve. I want to urge fellow members to take it upon ourselves to do something however small to help make Ingwe better<\/em><\/strong>“<\/p><\/blockquote><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

The gala featured five prestigious awards, each highlighting different aspects of the players\u2019 achievements throughout the season:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Player of the Season: won by Victor Omune.
This award, determined by a panel of experts, was based on statistical performance during the 2023\/24 season. It recognized the player who had consistently excelled on the field.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Players\u2019 Player of the Season:<\/pre>\n\n\n\n
Voted by the players and the technical bench, this award reflects the respect and admiration of peers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Fans\u2019 Player of the Season:
This category was a direct reflection of fan engagement. Through online polling, supporters determined which player had captured their hearts and admiration the most.<\/pre>\n\n\n\n
Fan of the Year:
Celebrating the passion and loyalty of AFC Leopards\u2019 supporters, this award acknowledgesd a standout fan whose dedication and enthusiasm had inspired others throughout the season.<\/pre>\n\n\n\n
Branch of the Year:
This award honored the branch that had demonstrated exceptional support and commitment to the club\u2019s activities and initiatives.<\/pre>\n\n\n\n
Olympia Musonye, the Chairperson of U45 Branch, passionately articulated their decision as a branch to sponsor AFC Leopards in this prestigious award ceremony.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cAs the U45 Branch, we decided to organize the AFC Leopards Gala Awards for the 2023\/2024 season to celebrate players\u2019 individual accomplishments, both on and off the field, with the goal of inspiring the team as they prepare for the upcoming 2024\/2025 season. Although the club did not win any trophies last year, we had players who performed exceptionally well, as well as fans and branches who demonstrated outstanding support and contributions in the season. Recognizing these achievements is essential. We aim to make this gala an ongoing tradition in the AFC Leopards calendar<\/em><\/strong><\/p><\/blockquote><\/figure>\n\n\n\n
The vibrant branch won the admiration of Hon Musalia Mudavadi who has encouraged them to remain focused and help steer Ingwe back to glory.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Makadara MP and former Ingwe official Hon George Aladwa was also full of praise for Olimpia Musonye and his U45 Unit branch for their top notch organizational skills that delivered one of the best events in the den so far.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
