While Kisii Gov Hon Simba Arati, Mombasa Gov Abdulswamad Sharif and Vihiga Senator Hon Godfrey Osotsi will deputize Raila Odinga.<\/p>\n\n\n\n I thank God for this great opportunity and extend my gratitude to my Party Leader Raila Odinga.For this, I am also indebted to the entire membership of our party. Senator Osotsi and Sen Sifuna have the oneness of revitalizing the party in the former Western province.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n According to political commentators, the elevation of the youthful Osotsi to the position of deputy party leader is a clear indication of where the party wants to be in terms of wrestling power from the ruling UDA.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Osotsi is seen as a shrewd politician who is also an astitute mobiliser. The second term law maker has always shown his pragmatism on several matters of national concerns. Osotsi does not shy away from speaking his mind however unpopular.<\/p>\n\n\n\n During his time as ANC Secretary general, Osotsi never shied away from contradicting his party boss by then. He has always stood with the ordinary mwananchi something that has seen the political elite loath him but he has remained a darling of many.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Recently a poll was commissioned to try and find out who was the best\/peoples senator. Osotsi emerged as the people’s favourite thanks to his contributions both in the senate and his empowerment programmes on the ground.<\/p>\n\n\n\n “Osotsi is the most easily accessible leader in Luhya land. His empowerment programmes in Vihiga county has changed many lives. His vision for the people of Vihiga, Mulembe nation and Kenya at large is worthy emulating. We thank the ODM party for bestowing to him the privilege of being one of the deputy party leaders. In Osotsi, the party has just signed a dependable player with a sharp eye for the goal as we move into 2027” said a member of <\/em><\/strong>Bunge la Mwananchi.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n Osotsi, Sifuna and Amisi axis.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n A triumvirate consisting of Hon Osotsi, Hon Sifuna and Hon Hamisi will r\u00e8 shape the Mulembe nation politics.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The three together with like minded youthful leaders like Bumula MP Hon Wanami Wamboka, the old guard will retire knowing that the future of Mulembe nation is in safe hands.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Both Sen Sifuna and Hon Caleb Amisi have been enjoying unrivalled airtime on the floors of the two houses where their contribution on topical issues has been outstanding. The trio have the vigor and the zeal to truly represent the people. Both have stood firm whenever their principles and or party position have been put to test.<\/p>\n\n\n\n While accepting his new role as deputy party leader, Hon Osotsi has promised to do his utmost best in serving the party, this is something that those who know him believe that he will truly do.<\/p>\n\n\n\n I am elated. With utmost honor I feel humbled by the decision by the ODM Central Management Committee to propose me to serve as the Deputy Party Leader.<\/p>\n\n\n\n What next for Sen Osotsi?
