Omanga, popularly known as \u201cMama Miradi\u201d asked the women of Viwandani to vote for the Kenya Kwanza brigade stating with Deputy President William Ruto as the next President, Waithaka as the Area MP, Sakaja as Nairobi Governor, Bishop Margret Wanjiru as the Nairobi senator and herself, Omanga, as the Nairobi woman representative at the upcoming August 9th General Elections.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
<\/p>\n\n\n\n The women said that Omanga has been consistent in visiting and supporting people in slums and other informal settlements and accused her opponent ODM\u2019s Esther Passaris of ignoring the informal settlements even after voting for her during the last elections.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cWe voted for Passaris and she took off. She has a very low opinion for the people in the ghetto and this time, we shall teach her a lesson\u201d the women vowed<\/em><\/strong>.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n Waithaka revisited his 10-point agenda for the people of Makadara noting that education will be prioritised once he is elected the next area MP. He said that he will ensure an effective way of giving out bursaries to the needy students in the area.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cBursaries will be available and given in a transparent manner.
