Isiolo, Wednesday 8th June, 2022: Azimio La Umoja-One Kenya Coalition party National Coalition Executive Council (NCEC) second Deputy Treasurer Lucy Mworia has lauded the Azimio La Umoja One Kenya coalition party Manifesto that was launched yesterday.<\/p>\n\n\n\n


The Devolution Empowerment Party (BUS party) Mount Kenya East regional coordinator said that the Manifesto was a clear indication of a bright future for Kenyans and that the support of single mothers, free education and quality healthcare will be a game changer in society.<\/p>\n\n\n\n


Mworia called on Kenyans to rally behind Raila Odinga\u2019s Presidential bid to ensure that these vulnerable groups in society are taken care of, noting that her educational empowerment agenda is commensurate with Raila Odinga\u2019s promise to provide free education from primary school to university level.<\/p>\n\n\n\n


The former Ms President Reality TV Show contestant and women activist has been at the forefront in campaigning for better education for Isiolo children as well as advocating for peaceful coexistence in the volatile upper eastern region.
Mworia said that the Azimio La Umoja manifesto which has promised to among other things offer free education will benefit many children in Kenya who now have a chance to get an education from Primary School all the way to University.
Mworia has during her campaigns has maintained that the BUS party advocates for peace and co-existence and has placed peace as one of her key pillars alongside education.<\/p>\n\n\n\n


\u201cMy priorities, once elected the MP for Isiolo North will be in the areas of education and security with an emphasis on technical skills to address the issue of unemployment as well as curb insecurity. If education is catered for in the model I am advocating in Isiolo, it would solve several other issues and as you know, dealing with an educated society is easier to solve their problems,\u201d she said.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n


\u201cIf our children who don\u2019t go to college or those who drop out of school enrol for technical education, they will be equipped with skills to allow then secure employment and this will solve the escalation rate of un-employment in our society. When you solve unemployment, you solve insecurity,\u201d Mworia noted at one of her past interviews.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mworia also said that single mothers have never been considered and now Raila Odinga has thought of their plight.
\u201cI have never seen a presidential candidate think of single mother. Now they have a reason to smile because their plight will be looked at,\u201d Mworia said.
Mworia said that free education as has been envisioned in the Azimio La Umoja manifesto will benefit many children in Kenya who now have a chance to get an education from Primary School all the way to University.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
