ODM Nairobi Youth coordinator and Upper Savannah Member of County Assembly (MCA) Stazo Elijah Omung’ala has exposed a propaganda plot by Kenya Kwanza to deceive voters through fake videos and photos being posted on social media and transportation of individuals to rallies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Stazo said the Deputy President (DP) Dr William Ruto led United Democratic Alliance (UDA party bloggers under the Kenya Kwanza alliance are being used to circulate fake videos and photos which have been manipulated by use of Photoshop and transport voters to their rallies to give an impression that they are popular.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cKenya Kwanza leaders are becoming very desperate to attract potential voters to their side upon sensing defeat from the Azimio La Umoja wing of politics led by the Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) party leader and presidential candidate whose popularity is increasing for them to use bloggers to circulate fake and manipulated videos and photos to deceive Kenyans,\u201d he said<\/em><\/strong>.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n
He added \u201cThe same bloggers who manage the UDA and Kenya Kwanza presidential candidate William Ruto\u2019s social media handles even use those manipulated photos and videos on his social media handles.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Stazo alleged that UDA\/Kenya Kwanza has a special unit in their campaign team who hire and transport people mostly youths to Ruto rallies country wide.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Stazo said the DP is losing popularity among the hustling youth who are no longer interested in attending his meetings and has now resorted to transporting wananchi by inducing them with money so that they can give an impression to Kenyans that he has a big following everywhere he goes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cHustling youths have stopped attending Ruto\u2019s rallies because UDA has problem in paying them for attending the rallies and even transporters are declining to allow the party hire their buses because of delayed payments,\u201d he said<\/em><\/strong>.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n
Stazo referred to a facebook post by the Neri Town Member of Parliament (MP) Ngunjiru Wambugu of when the Deputy President was in Nyeri campaigning.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In his FaceBook page the MP says:\u201dDO Ringa-thi amepatia watu wengi sana mchele, nyama na soda leo.
