Mworia, who is also the BUS party Mount Kenya East regional coordinator, will now fly the party\u2019s flag in the Isiolo North parliamentary race.
The former Ms President Reality TV Show contestant and women activist has been at the forefront in campaigning for better education for Isiolo children as well as advocating for peaceful coexistence in the volatile upper eastern region.
Mworia yesterday took to social media to celebrate her official nomination terming it the first step in her journey to spearhead a positive transformation of Isiolo North.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cThanks to the DEP Bus Party, I am now officially the MP aspirant for Isiolo North. Today I received my nomination certificate,\u201d Mworia said<\/em><\/strong>.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n
The Devolution Empowerment Party (BUS) leader Meru Governor Kiraitu Murungi sad that the party had now kicked off proper campaigns and it will penetrate all areas in the region and beyond.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cWho said that the bus did not have diesel? We were just testing the ground but now campaigns have started and we shall crisscross all corners to ensure that our candidates have resounding wins,\u201d Kiraitu said<\/em><\/strong>.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n![\"\"](\"https:\/\/goodmorningkenya.com\/wp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/05\/inbound781916370119940222-1024x682.jpg\")
Mworia has during her campaigns has maintained that the BUS party advocates for peace and co-existence and has placed peace as one of her key pillars alongside education.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cMy priorities, once elected the MP for Isiolo North will be in the areas of education and security with an emphasis on technical skills to address the issue of unemployment as well as curb insecurity. If education is catered for in the model I am advocating in Isiolo, it would solve several other issues and as you know, dealing with an educated society is easier to solve their problems,\u201d she said<\/em><\/strong><\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n
\u201cIf our children who don\u2019t go to college or those who drop out of school enrol for technical education, they will be equipped with skills to allow then secure employment and this will solve the escalation rate of un-employment in our society.
