{"id":13364,"date":"2022-04-15T09:45:51","date_gmt":"2022-04-15T09:45:51","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/goodmorningkenya.com\/wp\/?p=13364"},"modified":"2022-04-15T09:49:50","modified_gmt":"2022-04-15T09:49:50","slug":"it-will-now-be-antoh-waithaka-of-uda-vs-aladwa-of-odm-in-makadara","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/goodmorningkenya.com\/wp\/?p=13364","title":{"rendered":"It will now be Antoh Waithaka of UDA vs Aladwa of ODM in Makadara."},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong><em>Waithaka wins Makadara UDA ticket<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Nairobi, Friday 15th April, 2022: <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It was joy and celebration as businessman Anthony Waithaka whitewashed his competitors to clinch the United Democratic Alliance (UDA) Makadara parliamentary ticket at the UDA party nominations that were held yesterday.<br>Waithaka won the nominations in a 61 percent landslide with the second trailing him a distant 21 percent.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><br>Waithaka, popularly known as \u2018Anto\u2019 Makadara 1 polled 3907 votes out of the total 6419 votes cast.<br>His closest challenger Julius Kaunda came in second with 1326 votes with Mathew Mburu coming in third with 902 votes.
