Serie A side Juventus have confirmed their center back Daniele Rugani has contracted coronavirus.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The club said the 25 year old is currently not showing any COVID-19 symptoms.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Rugani has made only seven appearances for Juventus this season and was named as a substitute during the club last game against Inter Milan on March 8.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
A statement on Juventus website reads “The footballer, Daniele Rugani has tested positive for Coronavirus-COVID-19 and is currently asymptomatic.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Juventus Football Club is currently activating all the isolation procedures required by law, including those who have had contact with him”.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Italy is on lockdown after the coronavirus outbreak, the number of dead nationally has risen by 196 to 827 in a day.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
