It is a new dawn for junior age football as the Michael May Football Academy started training sessions at their newly founded training base in Nairobi\u2019s Utawala estate.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The leadership in Nairobi County welcomed the Michael May Football Academy in Kenya as the sports academy set base in the county.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Nairobi Governor Anne Kananu said that the academy will be an asset to the county as she works to stabilise her grip on the capital. \u201cOn behalf of the people of Nairobi, we welcome Michael May Football Academy that has set foot and base in Nairobi Utawala area,\u201d Governor Kananu said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Leading Nairobi Gubernatorial aspirant Richard Ngatia said that the academy was timely and was destined to lead the county into the path of prosperity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Embakasi East Member of Parliament Babu Owino said that the academy was a move that would inspire more youths to take up sports which is today a multi billion industry.
\u201cSetting the academy in Nairobi was a deliberate plan to have this county get on the way of development. We all support this move to have the Football Academy in Embakasi East,\u201d Babu Owino Said<\/em><\/strong><\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

Michael May Academy started training sessions a fortnight ago in Utawala.
Following their partnership program with Utawala Star Sports Club, the academy is set on establishing a permanent base in Kenya, to become the best football academy in the region.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The football academy will focus on youth and children, to develop their football talent and provide opportunities for growth and scouting.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

They train every Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday from 10 am \u2013 12 noon, during the holiday, and on Saturday from 9 am -11 am during the school term.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

To register your child, the academy charges Kshs 3,500 for training and Kshs 2,500 for a complete uniform set.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Michael May Football Academy, which has its headquarters in the United Kingdom also has an academy in Nigeria and has now set foot in Kenya.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Senator Beatrice Kwamboka said that setting more football academies in Nairobi was a sure way to empower the youth in developing their talent.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
