Ngatia who is the Kenya National Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KNCCI) president said that Karua was the only remaining force from there mountain that was outside the Azimio-OKA coalition and now that she is in Mount Kenya is 100% behind ‘Baba'(a term popularly being referred to Raila in Kenya’s politics).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ngatia said that with Karua on board as Azimio supporters and candidates outside Mount Kenya they have breathing space to campaign for Raila without any hitch.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Speaking from London in the United Kingdom (UK) where he is on a business trip to lobby got foreign investments in Nairobi, Ngatia said this was beginning of the end for Raila’s rival Deputy President (DP) William Ruto in the expansive vote rich Mount Kenya region .<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“Ruto has now been officially locked out of Mount Kenya and Raila is marching to State House with the region’s support,” said Ngatia<\/em><\/strong>.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

Ngatia commended Karua for being wise and seeing what lay ahead into joining the Azimio la Umoja bandwagon which is the winning team<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Kenya party leader Martha Karua has officially joined the Azimio la Umoja coalition led by ODM leader Raila Odinga.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On Wednesday, March 23rd, 2022, Karua while making the announcement after a closed-door consultation with the opposition chief at Serena Hotel, Nairobi said that she made the decision after \u201ccareful consideration.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Speaking in a joint presser with the Azimio leader, she said NARC Kenya will not field a presidential candidate at the polls but will instead support Raila\u2019s bid to get into State House.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

‘I have said time and again, and NARC Kenya believes in this, that as we move forward we must look for leaders who have a demonstrated track record of being selfless and putting the interest of the nation above theirs,\u201d she said<\/em><\/strong>.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n
