Hon Waithaka, popularly known as Anto, was there to supervise the mounting of the brand new modern boxing ring that is domiciled at the Jericho Social Hall.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The Ring will be used by all Makadara boxing clubs for free and they will also be allowed to hire it out in order to make money and help boxers from Makadara to honour other league and tournaments.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Former Heavyweight boxer George \u201cKidi\u201d Adipo thanked Waithaka for donating the ring for use in the area that has over the years produced prolific boxers and officials of the game.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cI thank Hon Antony Waithaka for the brand new modern boxing ring he has donated for all the Makadara boxing clubs. This will go a long way to reduce boxers\u2019 expenses and even trainings We pray for God\u2019s blessings on Waithaka,\u201d Adipo said<\/em><\/strong>.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n Kenya Professional Boxing Commission Secretary General Franklin \u201cKukaa\u201d Imbenzi who is also vying for the Harambee ward MCA seat on a Jubilee party ticket thanked Waithaka for always supporting boxing and sports in the area.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cAnto has stood with us the boxing community for a long time. He has been paying for training facilities for our boxers, air tickets for those going to play outside Kenya and sometimes even supporting the families of sportsmen and women.
