Former Nairobi county speaker and immidiate CAS in the ministry of gender Hon Beatrice Elachi has embarked on a charm offensive in her second stab at the Dagoretti North seat.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Fondly known as Mama Dago due to her motherly love for the people of Dagoretti North, Elachi who is a strong proponent of the handshake and Azimio la Umoja has been traversing Dagoretti North selling her agenda.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Yesterday Hon Elachi spent the better part of the day in the true spirit of valentine where she freely mingled with the youths and women ofcDagoretti North.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Flanked by nominated senator Hon Beatrice Kwamboka who is also gunning for Nairobi county women rep on ODM and Hon Ogeto the MCA Kilimani , Mama Dago challenged residents to stay in peace and embrace brotherhood.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“As residents of Dagoretti North we should stay together in love. We should keep off those leaders who are preaching tribalism. Dagoretti North is for us all and any leader preaching hate and tribalism should nit be entertained” Elachi said amid cheers from the people<\/em><\/strong>.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

Hon Elachi joins the already crowded field of aspirants keen on replacing Hon Simba Arati who has since shifted his political base to Kisii county.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

During the last general elections Hon Elachi came a close second behind Simba Arati.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
