grassroots coaches under training courtesy of FKF.<\/em><\/strong><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>40 grassroots coaches are set to benefit from a CAF D coaching course that was officially opened by Kibera MP Imran Okoth and FKF NEC Member Nairobi region Michael Majua Ouma on Monday, August 9, 2021, at the Rowllan Camp in Nairobi.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The course was put up by Football Kenya Federation Nairobi West in conjunction with Kibra MP Imran Okoth and is set to run for 10 days under the tutelage of FIFA\/FKF Instructors Leonard Odipo and George Mwangi<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>During the opening ceremony, Kibra MP Imran Okoth lauded the Federation\u2019s efforts in ensuring the capacity building of their coaches to enhance the state of football in the country.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"720\" height=\"487\" Okoth<\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p>FKF NEC Member Nairobi Region Michae Majua was elated at the number of coaches who showed up to begin their coaching journey<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cThe turnout in this course is a great indication of how our grassroots coaches really want to get the proper knowledge and skills to help us improve the standards of football in the country,\u201d FKF NEC Member Michael Ouma Majua<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>FKF Nairobi West Chairman Caleb Malweyi urged former players to take up the courses provided by the Federation and help us grow football in the country.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure Kenneth Wendo and Victor Ochieng come and begin their coaching journey, I would like to urge other players to take up these courses provided by the Federation and help grow the game,\u201d said FKF Nairobi West Chairman Caleb Malweyi.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p>In a bid to improve the standards of football in the country, the Federation made capacity building one of its key pillars and has
