{"id":1028,"date":"2020-02-19T20:25:10","date_gmt":"2020-02-19T20:25:10","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/goodmorningkenya.com\/wp\/?p=1028"},"modified":"2020-02-19T20:41:12","modified_gmt":"2020-02-19T20:41:12","slug":"nyoro-nominates-joyce-ngugi-as-deputy-governor","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/goodmorningkenya.com\/wp\/?p=1028","title":{"rendered":"Nyoro nominates Joyce Ngugi as deputy governor"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Nyoro nominates Joyce Ngugi as deputy governor<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Kiambu Governor James Nyoro Wednesday nominated Ms Joyce Ngugi as his deputy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Mr\n Nyoro told a media briefing at county headquarters that his choice of \nMs Ngugi was reached after wide consultations at county and national \ngovernment levels.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The decision is \nmeant to move the county forward to offer better services to the \nelectorates, he added. Ms Ngugi, widow of former Gatundu South MP Joseph\n Ngugi who died in 2014, will now face vetting by county assembly.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cThe  new reorganization will help the Kiambu government streamline service  delivery. I will be making more changes in a few days to come to  ensuring there is service delivery in the county,\u201d said Mr Nyoro.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Speaking  to journalists , Ms Ngugi expressed joy at the nomination and  promised to work with Mr Nyoro to steer the county forward.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cI\n am very happy and at the same time shocked by the nomination by Mr \nNyoro to be the Deputy Governor of Kiambu.
