The Marabou Stork for those who are not very familiar, are scavenging birds that are mostly found on the acacia trees around Nyayo Stadium. They are also found at the Dandora Dumpsite&nbsp;and on Harry Thuku Road next to the University of Nairobi and outside parliament buildings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"480\" height=\"515\" src=\"https:\/\/goodmorningkenya.com\/wp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/05\/dandorda-2-1.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-10278\" srcset=\"https:\/\/goodmorningkenya.com\/wp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/05\/dandorda-2-1.jpg 480w, https:\/\/goodmorningkenya.com\/wp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/05\/dandorda-2-1-280x300.jpg 280w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 480px) 100vw, 480px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>One <em>Jarunda Jaluth Mambobiad,<\/em> shared a photo on social media showing a boda boda rider tying up one of the birds on his motorcycle.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"509\" height=\"491\" src=\"https:\/\/goodmorningkenya.com\/wp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/05\/jarunda.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-10270\" srcset=\"https:\/\/goodmorningkenya.com\/wp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/05\/jarunda.jpg 509w, https:\/\/goodmorningkenya.com\/wp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/05\/jarunda-300x289.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 509px) 100vw, 509px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>,<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>This was last night. This man &amp; his group supply these birds to hotels right in the CBD of Nairobi.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>These birds are called Marabou Stork. You will see them roosting on the trees opposite Nyayo Stadium or at the <em>Dandora dumping site.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Here are some reactions from social media users<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Jahsure Oduorie<\/strong>: \u201c<em>This is so bad.
