Yesterday Senator  Godfrey  Osotsi  held a prayer session at his  Emusenjeli home in Luanda, Vihiga County, as he returned back to his people following his appointment as the ODM Deputy Party Leader.
During the session that was well attended, Hon Osotsi revealed that he had   honoured a request from the church and elders to hold this day.

My appointment as the ODM Deputy Party Leader will strengthen my oversight role.
I am telling off critics who have been claiming the added responsibility will water down my role in the Senate.I am giving an assurance I will remain focused on my mandate in the Senate while at the same time performing the new responsibility placed on my shoulders by the party. The appointment will make me more stronger as a Senator.I will work with resilience. I am now on the table that discusses political matters.I further reiterate that ODM has not joined the UDA government but only seconded a few of its professionals to help the Kenya Kwanza administration that was struggling to remain afloat.I will continue calling out the excesses in government
