The Malindi Mp Aisha Jumwa finally appeared before a Mombasa court and pleaded not guilty to charges read to her. In her plea, the vocal Mp denied misapropriating 19 millions and released on a bond of 5M or a cash bail of 2M. The matter will be heard on September 21st.
She is being held at the police station until she clears her bill. She was charged along six other officials from the Malindi NG-CDF. These officials include: Manager, Wachu Omar Abdalla, officials Sophia Said, Bernard Kai, Margaret Faith Kalume, Robert Katana and Engineer Kennedy Otieno Onyango.
