Richard Ngatia the front runner forNairobi governorship has intensified his efforts ensuring Nairobians register as voters.

Ngatia who is the Kenya National Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KNCCI) president is using various platforms to sensitise Nairobians on the need of getting listed as a registered voter ahead of the general elections scheduled for August 9th, 2022.
Ngatia engaged the registration drive gear after the Independent and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) started a mass voter registration exercise which began on January 17th expected to end on February 6th, 2022.
The governorship aspirant is initiating the process through road shows in the estates and streets of Nairobi, social media, door to door campaigns, barazas, meetings and meeting local leaders on the issue.
“Am calling upon everyone who is eligible to vote and has an Identity Card (ID) to go and register as a voter so that every Nairobian exercises his/her right to vote for a leader of their choice,” said Ngatia.
Ngatia said as a leader he wants to supplement to the IEBC’s efforts of mobilizing Kenyans to register through his grassroot networks.
“My team is trying its level best to conduct civic education to the young people on the need to get registered as voters in order to get a chance to exercise their democratic rights come 2022 General Elections,” said Ngatia.
