Nairobi’s Jubilee Party Gubernatorial front runner the Kenya National Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KNCCI) president Richard Ngatia will today (Sunday 27th March) hold a mega rally at the Kamkunji grounds in Kibra constituency in his continued vote hunting mission.
Ngatia will woo the vote rich constituency that is the political bedrock of the Azimio La Umoja Presidential candidate Raila Odinga to vote for him as the forth governor of the city at the August 9th, 2022 general elections.
Buoyed by his ever rising approval ratings and the popularity he has fast gained as one of the key leaders in the series of Raila Odinga popularisation campaigns, Ngatia will drive the Azimio la Umoja message as he seeks to capitalize on the ODM votes in the area.
ODM and Jubilee parties are the key member parties of the Azilio La Umoja movement ant the Azimio candidate for governor is largely expected to carry the day.
Reports have indicated that a negotiated democracy ticket for Nairobi is being crafted with the Nairobi Azimio dream team likely to be unveiled in the coming days.
The dream team has been suggested to be a line up of Jubilee’s Ngatia and Maina Kamanda who have been proposed to run for Nairobi governor and Senator while ODM nominated Senator Beatrice Kwamboka has been proposed as the Azimio dream team’s candidate for the Nairobi Women Representative position.
Ngatia will during the Kibra mega rally campaign for his election and that of Raila Odinga as the fifth President of Kenya.
Earlier today, Ngatia held a meeting with grassroots opinion leaders in Nairobi in readiness for the mega rally.
Ngatia, a close ally of President Uhuru Kenyatta is expected to attract a huge crowd following the joining of efforts by the president and his handshake partner Raila Odinga.
