A 35year old man from Kegati Village hacked to death after being caught in bed with mum

A 35 year old man was hacked to death by his younger brother after he was caught red handed feasting on his father’s honey pot.

According to the neighbours, the 55 year old woman and her deceased son were always seen leaving chang’aa dens at odd hours and roumers started spreading that the two were indeed an item.

Trouble started when the younger brother to the deceased called on her mother at around 9pm but there was no response. Upon checking back at around 11pm, he heard some silent murmers which prompted him to break the window and check if her mother was well.
In a drunken stupor the elder brother took off in haste prompting the younger brother to use his machete on him. The offending elder brother was badly hurt and succumbed to the injuries.

Neighbours converged at the homestead and silent murmurs confirmed that mother and son’s illicit affair had been going on for some time. The deceased father works in Nairobi and has not been home for month.
While confirming the ugly incident, the Kisii County Police Commander Jebel Ngere said that they had been informed by the general public about the incident. Ngere urged locals not to take matters into their own hands.The suspect is at large.
The victims mother has been aprehended and is now helping the police with investigations.
The body of the deceased has been moved to Kisii mortuary
