The vibrant city lawyer and proud Gen Z candidate made several energetic stopovers across the constituency today, from churches to marketplaces, from Boda stages to Bunge la Mwananchi—each encounter resonating with authenticity, passion, and homegrown leadership.
Faith & Community First: A Leader Who Gives Back
At Kingdom Worship Center in Gatina Ward, Mirimo joined worshippers in prayer, conversation, and fundraising. He donated Ksh 30,000 toward the church’s ongoing development and pledged 50 bags of cement to support their building efforts.
“My name is Mirimo Nyongesa—your son. Born in Western, but raised right here in Kawangware. I know this place, I live this life, and I am ready to serve you. It’s time to elect someone who truly understands the day-to-day reality of life in the ghetto,” he said, receiving a thunderous ovation from the faithful.
Team Confirm Takes Over the Streets
The streets of Dagoretti North were lit up today—literally. From Kawangware to Gatina, reflectors, posters, and campaign materials bearing Mirimo’s image and the unmistakable “Team Confirm” logo colored the neighborhoods with vibrant energy and style.
Every reflector worn, every poster seen, echoed one message loud and clear:
Confirm the Vision. Confirm the Agenda. Confirm Mirimo.
Flanking Mirimo was a powerful reinforcement—Kevin Neto, a youthful leader and rising political star who is eyeing the Matungu parliamentary seat in 2027. Together, the two sent a powerful message: Kenya’s young, vibrant, and visionary leaders are stepping up.
“This is not just about one constituency—it’s about a generational shift. We’re young, we’re focused, and we’re ready to serve,” said Kevin Neto, as he stood shoulder-to-shoulder with Mirimo.
Tackling Modern-Day Slavery Head On
While addressing residents at the ever-busy 56 Stage, Mirimo did not mince his words on the Gulf labor crisis:

“We can’t keep exporting our youth to the Gulf where they suffer in silence. That’s modern-day slavery, and we must call it out. We need policies that keep our young people empowered and employed here at home.”
He pledged to fight for legislation that protects Kenyan labor and promotes sustainable local job creation.
Bringing Leadership Closer to the People
Mirimo also promised to relocate the NGCDF offices closer to the people, emphasizing service delivery and accessibility.
“Dagoretti North’s leadership shouldn’t operate from a distance. Under my leadership, CDF offices will be located within the slums—where the people are, where the needs are, where the action is.”
Bunge la Mwananchi: The Voice of the People
Later in the day, while engaging with grassroots thinkers and hustlers at Bunge la Mwananchi in Kawangware 56, Mirimo encouraged open expression and youth activism.
“I’m Gen Z. I understand this hustle. I mourn those who’ve been lost and those who are still nursing wounds. We must speak out, stand up, and change the system from within,” he told the attentive crowd.
He urged the youth never to fear expressing themselves—and promised to amplify their voices in Parliament.
Next Stop: Women Empowerment
In the coming weeks, Mirimo will be intensifying engagements with women’s groups across Dagoretti North, discussing entrepreneurship, economic empowerment, and access to funding.
“Women are the backbone of our communities. I’m here to listen, partner, and champion their agenda,” he said.
Education, Youth, and Security at the Forefront
Mirimo has placed education, youth empowerment, and community security at the heart of his campaign. By investing in these areas, he hopes to reduce crime, keep kids in school, and provide real alternatives to drugs and unemployment.
A Homebred Vision for Dagoretti North
As the campaign trail heats up, Mirimo is urging residents to “Confirm” his vision:
“I’m not here to experiment. I’m homegrown, and I know what Dagoretti North needs. Confirm my agenda. Confirm my roots. Confirm your next MP.”
With the incumbent Hon. Beatrice Elachi expected to defend her seat, all signs point to a heated contest—but if today’s energy is anything to go by, Mirimo Nyongesa is not just participating—he’s leading the charge.
The choice is clear. The future is bold, vibrant, and homebred. The future is Mirimo Nyongesa. #TeamConfirm.
