Kirinyaga Mcas kneel as sign of asking the senate to let Waiguru’s case be handled by the senate plenary.

Kirinyaga County MCAs take one knee down to protest against Senate Jubilee chief whip Irungu Kang’ata plan to put impeachment motion against Gov Ann Waiguru before the 11 members committee. They want the matter be heard in a plenary like it was done on Waititu’s case.

Governor Waiguru was impeached this week with an overwhelming majority voting to send her home.

So far there are mixed feelings on whether the sennate should uphold her impeachment or not.

Cotu boss Francis was the first to beseech the senate to save her for the sake of the handshake.

Fellow governor Hon Charity Ngilu of Kitui and Cs Kobia have termed her impeachment as an affluence to the woman folks.

Senate speaker has received communication from Kirinyaga county and the process to kick out Waiguru or save him will start next week
