Hassan Joho wins hearts with Covid-19 “pandemic management skills”

The coastal governor is proving to critics that it’s not force that will win the war on Covid-19 pandemic. His thoughtful moves have out played other governors. His brainy solutions are causing worry in others governors who seems not to understand what needs to be done or how to do it.

001 as he is popularly known, has unleashed mental strength that has won him accolades across the nation and he comes around as the only leader in the country who has understood what the crisis means and what needs to be done.

While other governors are leading from behind, the governor of Mombasa has led from the front line, he has gone out of his way to mobilise resources, medical equipments, beds and a sorted food stuffs just in case the pandemic strikes the coastal region more than it’s predicted.

He has not waited for the central government to do it for him. The governor has stood firm in his actions and thoughts. He believes in putting your money where your mouth is. He has done things differently rather than following the normal conventional means.

Today he has outplayed the IG of police. While the IG had called on his force to arrest anyone not wearing a mask across the country, Joho decided to buy masks and hand to the police to distribute to locals who are out without amask.

This move is a smart one it will definitely anger some people in authority because questions will be, if the governor of mombasa can distribute free masks to his citizens, why would other county governments implement arrest measures?

Will the national government and other county governments consider issuing free masks to Kenyans or will they implement arrest orders. This pandemic has called into question the moral compass of our leaders and Hassan Ali Joho has outwitted all governors and a section of Kenyans think, he should run for presidency in 2022 or deputise Hon. Musalia Mudavadi come 2022 elections.
