Can Hon. Osotsi make it in Vihiga politics without blessing from Hon. Musalia Mudavadi?
A lot appears not to be happening behind the scenes but due to Covid-19 pandemic, public politics seems to have taken aback sit across the country yet taken a centre stage on our daily newspapers.
If you are keen, you must have observed that the three leading newspapers are either hatching political headlines because Covid-19 news is no longer selling or the papers are not bringing in a lot of revenue.
As a tradition, political headlines have sold news papers across targeted regions in Kenya and one woul feel sick if the ordinary newspapers decmmide to print without political jabs. So speaking to goodmorningkenya.com, ANC nominated Mp Godfrey Osotsi dismissed the paper’s headlines saying that many of the stories they are writing or putting out are not true.
He said, ” the stories are far from being true” you know the Kenyan media enjoys populism shots and you know for print media without screaming headlines you can’t sell. They are missing political opponents who make them sell.
He was categorical that indeed a lot is happening but it is not what the front pages are covering. He lamented that Covid-19 has slowed down the BBI momentum but people should not think that is the end of BBI.
The BBI dream is still strong and alive and soon its dose will be taken and realized by any means possible. Kenyans should brace themselves for change because it’s inevitable.
On the Tanga Tanga sycophants in Western Kenya, the Mp said, that their days are numbered and soon reality will catch up with them. These people need to comprehend that histroy is like karma, at no time in Kenya has the Vice president or for that matter deputy president succeed the out going president, it has not happened and it will not happen.
Dr. William Ruto will not be the first to make history. If they don’t read histroy seriously, history will treat them abnormaly, he said, let them start packing and go home because Tanga Tanga movement members will all go home in 2022.
That aside, Goodmorningkenya.com asked him about his future plans, will he ran in 2022, where will he vie and the calculative Mp said, for 2022, ” I have my cards on the chest” my move will definitely remain a matter of speculation but at the right time I will definitely make it public. People should relax. 2022 is still far.
That’s gospel according to him, but according to sources around him and key strategists who are helping him craft a plan for 2022, they say that he is going for Vihiga Senator. He is using all resources he has to build a strong following in the Vihiga county, because he believes Senator George Khaniri the “Mugabe of the current parliament and Vihiga politics” has done so little to deserve another term or victory.
He think because of his mixed up bringing in Vihiga constituencies, sailing through come 2022, it will not be impossible like touching the sun. The sources revealed to goodmorningkenya.com that, even though he is going for Vihiga county, it will not be, a walk in the park or a bed of roses, and it might be impossible for him to win the Senatorship seat in Vihiga county without the hand of Hon. Musalia Mudavadi.
It will be a miracle for him even if he came with Baba, just the way it has been a toll order for George Khaniri who over the years hanged on Hon. Musalia to survive in Vihiga politics and if left on his own it could have been impossible.
So if Hon. Osotsi is going to venture in Vihiga politics he needs Hon. Mudavadi more than anyone else. He needs him like never before, otherwise, his case cannot be unique like Hon. Gimose or Hon. Akaranga or Hon. Ottichilo. These three have had special dynamics to sail through. For Hon. Osotsi if he will run in Vihiga or not is still a matter of speculation.
