President Uhuru to meets Isaac Rutto, Musa Sirma and many other rift valley leaders in a bid to control imminent fall out in the region due to on going purge in the ruling party and actually expected reshuffle in parliament and government.
The present state of mind in jubilee administration is mind boggling and also politically schooling those who never attended a class of political science in their lives. Great thinkers in our history have taught us that, no one is indispensable to nature and government. A marriage will not last, whoever beautiful, decorative and colourful as it might be and especially political marriage.
When jubilee party was coming together, many people were skeptical, especially political pundits who included Isaac Rutto and warned the former URP party leader, now the deputy president not to wrap up his political party for any reasons to format jubilee, but just like a young girl in love, the former party leader was so much in love with jubilee idea and deserted his thinking guts on the highway.
That decision infuriated former Governor Isaac Rutto who went a head to form his political party called CCM which he used to fill candidates across the country. By then Isaac Rutto was thinking like a Greek priestess who once said, ” If you say what is right, men will hate you, if you say what is wrong, the gods will hate you” The deputy president just like any mortal man, couldn’t entertain the noble advise from his namesake.
Today as things are falling apart in jubilee party, the charted chopper has landed at Isaac Rutto farm to airlift him to state house for private talks with the head of the state. What will they discuss? What are the plans on the cards? The problem with Kenya or African politicians, they hate truth, love praise and loath truth. With little power, they indulge in loosing their thinking faculties, they fall easily for frailties, goodies and trivialities of today without planning strategically for tomorrow.
A wise politician once said, ” the system will have you on its strings from the moment you take a public oath” Your life become a product of the government of the day and in the words of the late Michuki, ” the government can remove your entire teeth and let you free to go and report ”
Is this what is happening to the allies of the current deputy president? Just think, what happens once Isaa Rutto leaves state house, what will be the next move? Yes it’s a house of cards, which other card is being pulled, let’s wait and see!
