Hon Samuel Mundia: The youths should not cheer those beating war drums, Instead let us focus on building the nation.

The last six months have been hard to Kenyans and more so the youths.
The Covid 19 pandemic has not made matters even better. Our country was struggling to revamp our economy. The debt ratio is at its all time highest.
So many youths have shouldered the brunt of it with many turning to drugs to atleast take a temporal refuge from the hard hitting reality.

The presidency should be respected for it is the symbol of our nation’s unity”.

Hon Mundia with the president.

The recent war of  words and outbursts being spewed left right and center doesn not add any value in addressing underlying issues that affect our nation.

I therefore take this opportunity to ask my fellow Kenyans who are below 35 years  let us restrain ourselves from using abusive words  and abusing our symbol of national unity.
The  presidency that is   H .E Uhuru Kenyatta and his deputy  Dr William Samoei Ruto.
Let us keep calm and focus on the future of our beloved nation Kenya. In the strongest terms possible I wish to add my voice in condemning the political class who of late have gone on an overdrive  hitting and hurling insults to the presidency and other respected leaders in our country like Mama wa Taifa Mama Ngina Kenyatta. This should stop forthwith  and the energies directed to building our nation.

Job losses and economic meltdown.
In the  last six months alone, many young Kenyans  who number over 6 million have been rendered jobless .

As at  the end of March 2020 Nearly 400 Private Companies In Kenya have  Shut Down.
Surprisingly, no politician has taken pro active steps to help seek remedies.

Our politicians are pre occupied with positions and grandstanding at the expense of the youths.

No one will fight for the youths but ourselves.

Even as the covid 19 pandemic effects hit us hard.
It is incumbent upon the youths to fight for their space.

I wish to implore the youths to stand firm and fight for a space on the dinner table failure to which the youth shall be served on the menu.
